Friday was the first day off school for kids this year.  It was also a particularly chilly morning, following yesterday’s day of rain.  But why snuggle in our cozy, warm beds when we could be shivering outside in the cold September morning air?  Thank goodness I packed a thick, furry blanket at the last minute!  Scarlett was a little doll, who only needed a few moments to “warm up” to me.  Soren was a calm, cool & collected James Dean type, and big sister Holly tried in vain to keep everyone on task.  Was it cold?  Yes.  Did these guys come prepared to work it?  Absolutely 100%!
